The Wine Route stretches 140 km across the Eastern Townships and brings together 20 vineyards and cideries — some among Quebec's oldest, several certified organic — for an updated take on terroir. On its own, it produces 60% of Quebec's wine. Plan on visiting 3 to 4 vineyards a day, 30 to 45 minutes per visit (at least an hour for guided tours).

A paradise for windsurfing enthusiasts, Venise-en-Québec sits on the shores of Lake Champlain and offers a host of watersports — boating, kayaking, canoeing, jet-skiing, and even kitesurfing.
After a day of activities
Between vineyard visits or a kayak outing, the area's restaurants and markets round out a stay spent mostly on the estate's own terrace.
